Who could forget Princess Diana’s wedding dress, it defined an era! Now Elizabeth Emanuel, one half of the designer duo behind the famous dress has created a new label, The Art of Being and I was lucky to be invited to meet her. The event took place at the Hippodrome Casino – if you haven’t been there then forget the clichés of casinos as rather sleazy establishments as it’s a state of the art venue with a very modern feel.
After a tasty breakfast, we headed to the theatre to hear all about her new project. The designer was introduced by Polly Rae, a talented burlesque performer who proved to be a natural at interviewing.
