I’ve long been a fan of David Linley’s beautifully crafted furniture, so was delighted to meet the designers at the Belgravia store, in the company of fellow luxury and interior design experts. Linley is a British brand, established in 1985 and specializing in extraordinary furniture and home accessories.
During the evening, we would learn all about the secret drawers hidden in some of the furniture, and a whole lot more about the world of Linley. These secret drawers are one of the most challenging elements to include in a piece of furniture, and only the most skilled craftspeople know how to do so. The desk below had at least 5 hidden compartments, perfect for holding a key or other precious objects. I was particularly taken with the Grace cabinet – it looks stunning on the outside and is equally impressive when you open it up.
