As a fervent foodie, I was excited when Zomato invited me to One Moorgate Place restaurant to sample their lunch menu. It’s a stylish brasserie in the City serving modern European seasonal produce and open Monday to Friday for breakfast and lunch. Housed in a grade II listed building, home to the Institute of Chartered Accountants, it should certainly impress clients.
We passed through the imposing hallway and vaulted ceiling, down to the restaurant. Going through the restaurant door, it feels like you are shutting out the hustle and bustle of the city for a while. It’s a welcoming and colourful place, with very comfortable seating. We admired the elegant flower display. Our friendly waiter brought us a bread board whilst we studied the menu – it was nice to have the choice of different breads.
