Who can resist an alpine themed pop up restaurant at this time of year? Certainly not me, I’ve actually been to Lodge d’Argent twice in the space of one week. It’s located in Coq d’Argent, a long standing rooftop restaurant in the City of London. It’s called Coq d’Argent, the Silver Cockerel because the street it’s on, Poultry , takes its name from the produce that used to be sold at market.
We headed through the throngs of commuters, took the lift to the top and immediately felt like we had entered a festive haven. D&D London who own the restaurant, have partnered with Hennessy Cognac and there’s a wide range of cognacs to choose from. The rooftop has been decked out with candles, flowers, luxurious throws and rugs.
