We’re pretty spoilt for choice with London art events. It seems like every day there’s a new must-see exhibition opening. I’ve rounded up a few of my current favourites to share with you. CHAMPAGNE LIFE AT THE SAATCHI GALLERY The Saatchi Gallery is celebrating its 30th anniversary and has its first all women exhibition, running until 6 March.
It features the work of a whole host of female artists, giving us a chance to reflect upon what it means to be a female artist working today. It’s one of my favourite contemporary galleries and I often pop into its restaurant too. Whilst the title of the exhibition, Champagne Life, suggests luxury and success, it’s also ironic in that an artist will spend many unglamorous hours toiling in a studio to create their artworks.
