One of the best restaurants in London for a Sunday roast, the Jones Family Project is a quirky venue in Shoreditch. They’ve launched a pop up picnic for Summer, and I was lucky to be invited along to try it. An independently owned steak restaurant and cocktail bar, they’re handily located just opposite The Hoxton Hotel.
I was already a fan of their unique decor and their meat, which they source from Britain’s best farmers and butchers such as The Ginger Pig. Their steaks are dry-aged for a minimum of 28 days and prepared on a Josper grill, but they have some really interesting vegetarian options too. No wonder OpenTable diners voted them one of the top ten best contemporary European restaurants in London.
