London is such a melting pot of cultures and we’re lucky to have so many restaurants reflecting that diversity. Lebanese cooking is one of my favourite cuisines, so I was excited to visit Yasmeen Restaurant, a newly opened Lebanese restaurant in St John’s Wood. Located on a quiet and beautiful residential street, the restaurant has an attractive outdoor terrace at the front.
Whilst inside, you can choose to sit in the light and airy conservatory or the cosy inside space, decorated with fascinating photos of Lebanon. The name Yasmeen comes from the jasmine flower, and the jasmine motif is in evidence throughout the restaurant, from the napkin holders to the fresh flowers. We started with a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice for Mr Luxe who was driving, and a crisp white wine for me.
