Arriving at The Georgian Restaurant at Harrods, you can’t help but be impressed by the grandeur of the decor. Since 1913, this iconic Art Deco gem has welcomed diners for afternoon tea and lunch. It’s recently been redesigned by Christopher Guy Harrison who has kept the best elements of the decor like the magnificent ceiling and created over 500 bespoke pieces inspired by the elegance of the 1920s and 1930s.
Finding it is easy, just take the famous Egyptian staircase up to the fourth floor and past the Fashion Lab. Once upstairs, we admired the Art Deco style mosaics made from over 130,000 pieces… as well as the stylish chairs in a variety of styles and the full sized bronze statue of a lady. Mr Luxe and I loved our last dining experience in Harrods, at their Stelle di Stelle pop up which featured five of Italy’s best restaurants with 13 Michelin stars between them.
