Move over London’s wine bars, there’s a new wine hotspot on the block! Enoteca Rabezzana is a cool new wine bar and restaurant located in the area around Smithfield Market, with 150 Italian wines on offer. I was delighted to be invited to sample a few of these wines and some of their Italian food specialities on a rainy Friday.
If you are wondering where the name comes from, Enoteca means wine shop, and Rabezzana is a wine producer in Piedmont. Rabezzana Vini have actually been making wines since 1876, and they now use organic methods. A great advantage of organic wine for me is that you don’t feel any after-effects since chemicals aren’t used. A lot of care has been taken with every detail – the graphic design of the menus was particularly striking.
