Japan is well known for its capital city, Tokyo and for Kyoto and Osaka yet it has many hidden gems that will surprise and delight visitors. From Tokyo it’s only a 1 and a half hour flight to Oita. We flew with ANA from Haneda Airport, which has the advantage of being close to Tokyo centre.
